Climb the stairwells of six of downtown Vancouver’s tallest towers in HFHGV’s Step Up Challenge!
Support Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver and help build affordable housing for local working families.
Gather your team and embark on a challenge on October 22, 2023. You and your fearless group of five (or more) will ascend six of Vancouver’s magnificent downtown towers — 2568 feet and 184 floors — in this epic fundraiser. Help us raise vital awareness about issues of housing affordability and support our new build initiatives by setting your own fundraising goal (suggested $2500).

· Registration: 7:30 – 8:30 am
· Start 9 am
Most Teams will be done between 11am and 12pm.
Individuals can sign up and we connect you to a team so you don’t have to climb alone.
Teams can climb and participate in three different categories
1. Power Up the Towers: All members of the TEAM climb all six towers.
2. Step Up for Families: All members of your TEAM climb three towers.
3. Make a Difference: Each Team member climb’s one tower.
· There will be prizing for Top Fundraisers and Top Times for each category.
· Every participant will receive a HFHGV T-Shirt.
· Each climber will have access to snacks during the climb and lunch when you finish.
Where Your Donations Go
Affordable Housing is top of mind for everyone in Greater Vancouver and in BC. You and your teammates have a chance to help Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver tackle the housing shortage by raising awareness and funds for our largest build to date. We will be breaking ground early 2024 on 42 units in Coquitlam on land donated by the City of Coquitlam. These homes will transform the lives of hundreds of families and their children for generations to come. With healthy, successful families comes vibrant and successful communities. We cannot do our work without the generous support of our greater community. Your fundraising and donations through the Step Up Challenge will help us achieve that.
